If you’re on a budget and have a confirmable hospital, specialist or allied health appointment, the Health/Medical Bus could be the solution for you.
If you require urgent medical attention, please call an ambulance. Care in Motion is not a patient transport service.
Price
The Health Buses have set fees ranging from $14.80 to $52 – depending on where you travel from.
Bookings
Bookings close 12.30pm on the business day prior to travel for the Yorke Peninsula and Mid North Service and on the Friday before travel on the Upper North Medical Bus.

Appointments need to occur within a strict timeframe and may be confirmed by our team. Contact the office or download the brochure to find out how this works in your region.
Departure times
Departure times vary, and you will be notified of your pickup time by 4pm on the business day prior to travel.
Pick up and drop off
On the Yorke Peninsula, there are set locations for the morning and afternoon pick up and drop off. Other regions offer a home pick up.

The Health Bus will get you there!
Problem
You need to visit someone in hospital or you have a medical appointment in the Adelaide metro area, but you don't drive and your pension doesn't stretch very far.
Solution
The Health Bus will pick you up from your nearest pickup point and drop you right at the hospital where you can visit until the return journey in the afternoon. The bus will then drop you back at your original pickup point.

You spend some quality time with a family member without breaking the bank.
